Our Mission

At Xeon NC, our mission is straightforward: deliver perfect sheet metal parts, every time.

To support that standard, we have continuously invested in equipment, tightened quality processes, and implemented regular operational reviews to ensure every part leaving our facility meets the highest expectations. That commitment is reflected in our Weber 1350 deburring and finishing machine — a cornerstone of our quality process.

What drives our quality

  • Continuous equipment investment
  • Tightened quality processes
  • Regular operational reviews
  • Automated finishing — no hand grinding

What the Weber 1350 delivers

  • Consistent edge rolling
  • Vacuum hold-down for small parts
  • Fast, precise changeover via HMI
  • Near-mill-quality surface finish

Why the Weber 1350

The Weber 1350 was selected after a thorough evaluation of available finishing solutions. Our requirements were demanding: consistent edge rolling across a wide range of materials and thicknesses, reliable vacuum hold-down for smaller parts, fast and precise changeover, and a finishing pass capable of producing a clean, near-mill-quality surface.

The Weber 1350 delivers on all of these.

Machine Capabilities

Weber 1350 processing stations and belt system

The Weber 1350 features multi-head edge-rolling brushes, providing thorough and consistent edge treatment across the full width of the conveyor. A coarse deburring belt removes sharp edges and laser oxide, while a fine-grit finishing belt produces a smooth, linear surface finish on aluminum and stainless steel parts — closely matching a #4 mill finish.

The machine's vacuum conveyor table maintains firm hold-down even on smaller parts, reducing the risk of movement or misalignment during processing.

Changeover & HMI Control

Changeover between materials and thicknesses is handled through the machine's precise HMI, allowing our operators to adjust settings quickly and accurately. This reduces downtime between jobs and keeps our production floor running efficiently.

Operator advantage: Saved HMI recipes mean a material changeover — from 16-gauge stainless to 0.063″ aluminum, for example — takes under two minutes with zero trial parts.
// Quality Results

Part Quality

The result is a measurably higher quality part. Edge rolling is consistent and well-defined, protecting parts during handling and downstream fabrication. The finishing belt eliminates the rough surface texture left by laser cutting, producing a clean appearance suitable for cosmetic applications.

Combined with our existing quality standards and handling protocols, the Weber 1350 allows us to hold tighter tolerances on surface and edge quality across a broad range of part geometries.

Edge Quality

  • Consistent, well-defined edge rolling
  • Safe handling during assembly
  • Protects downstream fabrication
  • Eliminates hand-grinding variability

Surface Quality

  • Eliminates rough laser-cut texture
  • Clean cosmetic appearance
  • Near-#4 mill finish on aluminum & SS
  • Paint & coating ready surface

Process Quality

  • Automated — zero operator variability
  • Every part processed identically
  • Vacuum hold-down prevents misalignment
  • Full-width coverage, no missed edges

Our Standard

“If we wouldn’t accept it, we won’t ship it.”

That single sentence drives every decision we make on the production floor — from how we nest parts on a sheet, to how we inspect edges after deburring, to how we package finished orders for shipment. The Weber 1350 is one piece of that puzzle, but it reflects the broader philosophy: invest in the equipment and processes that make “good enough” impossible.

Where We're Headed

The Weber 1350 represents a significant step in our quality roadmap, but our work doesn't stop here. We continue to evaluate additional investments to further raise the bar on what a finished sheet metal part should look like.

On the Roadmap

  • Part leveling & flattening systems
  • Expanded automation integrations
  • Advanced finishing services
  • Protective packaging solutions

Continuous Improvement

Every quarter we review our quality metrics, customer feedback, and reject rates to identify the next investment that will have the biggest impact on part quality. The Weber 1350 was the result of that process — and it won't be the last.
